How are Council members appointed?
The Teslin RRC is comprised of 10 council members, 5 members nominated by each of the five clans of the Teslin Tlingit Council (TTC) and five nominated by the Government of Yukon. The members are appointed by the Minister while the Chair is chosen by the members. The Minister appoints the chair chosen by the members. Appointments are for 5-year terms (renewable).
